Lower limb fractures and trauma can range from hip fractures, knee fractures and ankle fractures. Treatments often depend on the type of injury and how it happened. Options are to often realign the bone, stabilise the joint, preserve blood vessels and nerves and control the pain. Some injuries are able to be treated with ongoing physio and casts or splints however others will require surgical treatment.
